Maternity Pictures!

Yay, we have our maternity pictures!  For those of you who don't know, my sister-in-law is a talented photographer and often does photo shoots with her friends and occasionally for other people.  Awhile ago I asked if she would do our maternity pictures and she agreed!  She came over to our house on the 31st to take them.  We were going to do them outside but it was COLD that day!  I think a high in the 20's not to mention the wind chill.  So we did them inside and they turned out fabulous!  I am so exited to share them with you!

Not gonna lie...Ben had some difficulty getting his arms around me!

Riley wanted to be in every picture!

This is my "What are you doing?!" face.

As you can see, she is sooooo talented!  Such great pictures.  I can't wait to have her take photos of the babies once they are here.  If you want to see some of her other work, check out her Facebook page at Francesca Alvarez Photography.  You'll be amazed!

Just for fun

Just wanted to share some fun Christmas pictures that Ben took.  I particularly liked these because I didn't have to get dressed up for them!

Enjoy!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2015!  At midnight, I told Ben that we were having babies THIS YEAR!  He responded with an, "Uh huh...that's scary!" haha.  We were supposed to have friends over for a little NYE party but people either couldn't come or got sick so it ended up just being Ben, myself, and Riley ringing in the new year.

We are such party people...can't you tell?  I ended up taking a nap from 9:30-11pm to be able to make it to midnight, haha.  I blame the babies for wearing me out.

Toasting at midnight with our water and apple cider!  Followed by our midnight kiss.

And this is our, "Eek!  We're becoming parents this year!" face!

Earlier in the day my sister-in-law came over to take some maternity pictures for us.  She is such a talented photographer!  I can't wait to see the pictures once they're ready and share them!  We ended our rousing evening around 12:30am by heading to bed.

Along with watching the usual Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, my hometown of Easton was on CNN last night!  A correspondent for Anderson Cooper covered Easton's Crab Drop at midnight and it was fun to see my little town on CNN and was broadcasted all over the world!  Anderson called the Crab Drop his new favorite tradition.  Yay for small towns!

Happy New Year everyone!

Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas with our families!  The Saturday before Christmas, we celebrated with my mom's side of the family at my parents' house.  I forgot to take my camera so I don't have any pictures :(  On Christmas Eve, we headed to the Eastern Shore to celebrate Christmas with my family.  We first had lunch with my parents and brother and then opened gifts and played games!

Then we went to my grandparents' house for Christmas Eve dinner with my dad's side of the family.  Everybody gathers back there Christmas morning for breakfast and gifts but since we are home Christmas morning, Ben and I do our gifts with them on Christmas Eve.

This backseat is going to look a lot different next year!

All seven grandchildren and two great grand children.

Christmas morning was very relaxing and quiet for us.  We kept saying how next year it is going to be so different!  We are getting new phones in January (yay!  I cracked my screen last February so I'm super pumped to get a new one!) so those are our Christmas gifts.  This year we just did stocking stuffers for each other.

After a yummy breakfast of cinnamon buns, we went to my in-laws' house to spend Christmas Day with them.  We relaxed, ate yummy food, put a puzzle together, and opened a few more gifts!

We hope you had a Merry Christmas celebrating the Lord's birth with family and friends!  Enjoy your last day of 2014!
