March Birthdays

If you've been following us for awhile, then you know that Ben and his sister have birthdays two days apart and we often celebrate their birthdays together. This year, the babies' due date was March 9th, which is also Ben's birthday! Once we found out there were two, we knew we would never make it to March 9th and I was relieved that they wouldn't have to share a birthday with their dear old dad. Instead, we got to take 3 week olds out to dinner to celebrate!

We went to dinner at The Ale House with Ben's family to celebrate their birthdays. Ben picked the restaurant and Chessie picked dessert. The girls were held the entire time and passed around the table for everyone to enjoy.

This was the second time I actually got to put real outfits on them instead of just wearing sleepers! I also realized that I didn't get a single shot of Aunt Chessie or Nana or Poppy holding the girls. Oops!  Then we went back to Nana and Poppy's house for dessert and gifts!

On Sunday, we went to dinner at Outback Steakhouse with my parents. I don't have any pictures from this dinner. The girls were great again and slept the whole time in their car seats. As for Ben's actual birthday, we just hung out at home with the babies and my mom who was up here to help out. I made one of Ben's favorite meals, spicy peanut chicken and apple crisp for dessert!  We had a lot of fun and good food celebrating Ben and Chessie!
