It's Been Awhile...

Hi family and friends...it's been awhile since I've posted anything.  We didn't have much going on in January and February was a rough month.  Since around Christmas, our two dogs started not getting along.  We thought it was due to Penny not having any training and were waiting for training to start at the end of January.  Well training started and our situation didn't get any better.  The dogs kept fighting to the point where we had to keep them completely separated.  At the beginning of February, Ben and I made the difficult decision to find our puppy, Penny, a new home.  Through lots of searching and posting, we found a great couple through out church who were interested in Penny.  We took her over to meet them last weekend and they fell in love with her.  Later that night, we took Penny to her new forever home.  We upset and heartbroken that Penny couldn't stay in our home but we know that it was the right decision for all of us.  God really blessed us with finding a great couple to take her and love her as much as we do.  According to her new family, Penny has settled in well and is adjusting to her new life.  For those of you who were praying for us and getting the word out to possible interested people, thank you.  We appreciate your help and support through this difficult month.  We miss our Penny but we know we made the best decision possible and that she's happy.  So thanks for bearing with us and the blog as it has been pretty blank in the past few months.  Hopefully with spring coming...I think it's coming, though I'm not sure.  Winter keeps hanging around.  Go home winter!  Anyways, with spring coming, hopefully we will have more fun stuff to share.  Can't wait for warmer weather!
