Zoo Trip #2

Yesterday, the whole first grade made the trek to the National Zoo...yes, I went to the zoo twice in one week!  It was fun to walk around with three 6 & 7 year olds and see the zoo through their eyes.  We didn't get to see as much as I did with Chessie but we still had a ton of fun!  The weather was perfect too... a little warm but there was plenty of shade and the Zoo has misters which the kids loved!  I think that was their favorite part.  Anyways, here are a few more pictures from the National Zoo!

The zebras were having a little argument when we were there.  You can see the one biting the other!

Look at them!  While we were there, all of a sudden they all ran over to these doors and kept popping up and down.  Then we realized that they were about to get lunch!

If you look closely, you can see the little fish being thrown into the exhibit.

Panda!  The panda was eating lunch too but it's back was to us.

The red panda was enjoying a nice nap up in a tree.  It is so adorable!
